Inspector, Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Perform routine line clearances and inspections on packaging lines to ensure GMP compliance
• Monitor compounding and packaging activities to ensure batch documentation and SOPs are followed
• Review paperwork for accuracy and compliance both on the line and upon completion of activities
• Initiate incident reports and perform initial floor investigations and impact assessments
• Collect representative samples for testing and maintain sample and retention records
• Prepare and update written procedures, including SOPs, forms, and work instructions
• Provide real-time solutions and coaching to production staff to improve compliance and documentation practices
• Oversee temperature monitoring systems and perform routine inspections of GMP areas

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or an equivalent field
• 1-3 years of QA/QC experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Thorough knowledge of GMP and SOP requirements
• Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and chemicals
• WHMIS training
• Strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
