About the role

Responsibilities

  • Inspect production and post-delivery power plant and strut assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals
  • Perform receivable inspections on parts, engines, and struts, verifying identification numbers and paperwork accuracy
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify assembly tolerances
  • Monitor online systems for in-process work, including bond, torque, seal, and installation plan buy-offs
  • Document discrepancies, non-conformance reports, and part removals as required
  • Coordinate with Liaison and Project Engineering to resolve technical issues or drawing discrepancies
  • Conduct audits, including area surveillance and process specification audits, to ensure 5S compliance and regulatory standards
  • Support new product development through conformity checks and first article verifications

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • 1+ years of experience in Structures, Mechanical, Electrical, or Final Assembly
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and bend or twist for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

  • Experience working with precision measuring tools
