Inspector PDI Carrocero externo

Responsibilities

• Inspect units to detect safety, functional, and interface discrepancies using corresponding checklists.
• Manage the repair process with the production team for any details found during inspection.
• Verify the effectiveness of solutions to ensure all identified discrepancies are properly closed.
• Coordinate PDI activities and make operational decisions in the absence of a supervisor or team leader.
• Monitor metrics and interpret graphs to support team performance and continuous improvement.
• Support product conservation for units remaining in stock for more than three months.
• Assist in the review and preparation of platforms sent to bodybuilders.
• Support the delivery and reception process of chassis for Marcopolo, ensuring correct functionality through inspection.
• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify faults that immobilize units.
• Ensure all activities comply with local and international regulations, including the FCPA and Daimler Truck Code of Conduct.

Requirements

• Technical degree or high school diploma.
• Proven experience driving different types of buses.
• Proficiency in SAP for specification consultation and unit release.
• Experience using Star diagnosis tools.
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of chassis and bodywork products.
