Inspector - Marine

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in support of survey or construction activities.
• Set up and operate equipment and conduct inspections of engineering installations for compliance with specifications.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and assist with the building, repair, or maintenance of marine structures.
• Plan and accomplish moderate goals under general supervision using company policies and business practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in marine inspection or a related maritime role.
• In-depth knowledge of international maritime standards, regulations, and inspection techniques.
• Proven experience conducting thorough inspections of various marine vessels and structures.
• Relevant marine inspection certifications (e.g., NACE, FROSIO, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in relevant inspection software and tools.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Physical fitness to perform inspections in diverse marine settings and willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with UAE maritime regulations and standards.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations related to marine operations.
