About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Document inspection results and report any deviations or non-conformances to the appropriate teams for corrective action
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation
- Experience with quality management systems and documentation practices
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status) due to export control laws
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in quality assurance or manufacturing
- Experience in aerospace, industrial, or high-precision manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis methodologies
