Inspector III

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, unbiased evaluations of materials and work through inspection, measurement, and testing
• Audit raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to ensure compliance with quality system requirements
• Document non-conformances to standards through required paperwork, system transactions, and official sign-offs
• Handle discrepant materials according to documented disposition and manage hazardous waste disposal
• Perform statistical analysis by collecting and inputting data into software applications
• Train and provide guidance to entry-level and less experienced Quality Auditors
• Communicate audit metrics and assignment statuses through verbal updates and periodic reports
• Solve complex problems by interpreting procedures and suggesting practical solutions for continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of quality system environments
• Ability to perform statistical analysis
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
