Inspector II - Quality

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments and manufactured products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards
• Perform precise part measurements using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM
• Conduct load and product testing, case line-ups, audits, and inspections
• Collect and chart quality data to support continuous improvement
• Mentor and train team members on quality procedures and standards
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve supplier invoice or product discrepancy errors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage locations and physical plant areas
• Perform material handling duties, including operating fork trucks and hand trucks

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of related experience in quality inspection or manufacturing
• Proven experience in auditing processes and products
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and customer orders
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, Saturdays, and Sundays

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ Certification(s)
• Experience with electronics and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience using AS400 systems
