About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect ambulances and emergency vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards before delivery
- Perform functional testing, water testing for leaks, and vehicle weighing
- Conduct final cosmetic sign-offs and complete cosmetic tags
- Verify order options and perform road tests of vehicles
- Follow departmental work instructions and maintain safety and 5-S requirements
- Utilize basic 12-volt electricity knowledge and hand tools for inspection tasks
- Complete detailing duties as assigned by the department
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate simple instructions in English
- Proficiency with linear and other types of measuring devices
- Strong mechanical ability and component operation function
- Experience using hand tools
- Valid Driver’s License for vehicle road testing
- Ability to work in a production environment involving ladders, standing, and lifting up to 40 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-1 year of experience in a Quality Control (QC) setting
- Previous experience in vehicle assembly
