Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections to determine water service line material in Danville, IL
• Interact with landowners, contractors, and clients as a primary point of contact
• Document findings by preparing daily written inspection reports with photo documentation
• Review and implement project documents and perform necessary data entry
• Provide technical leadership and coordination for daily inspections and schedules
• Distribute water sampling test kits and contracts to landowners as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld data collection devices
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to comply with all health and safety procedures
• Basic understanding of building construction and locating water meters is a plus
