Inspector - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
• Perform survey work under the direction of the Resident Engineer, including establishing horizontal and vertical control points.
• Record all measurements, rod readings, and calculations accurately in field books.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data and coordinate with the Contractor’s surveyor on priorities and schedules.
• Check completed work for conformance to line and grade requirements in coordination with assigned inspectors.
• Maintain equipment in proper condition and perform frequent calibration checks.
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
• Apply and implement all site safety, quality controls, and quality procedures.
• Monitor the Health and Safety of construction works and report any violations.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in the construction of building projects.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in performing survey work and interpreting contract documents.
• Strong ability to monitor safety and quality control on-site.
