About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections on rocket motor components and assemblies using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
- Write Inspection Report (IR) cards and Discrepancy Reports (DR) to ensure product traceability
- Enter shipping data, non-conformance reports (NCR), and Oracle entries into the computer system
- Adhere strictly to safety, housekeeping, and Quality System Requirements (AS9100)
- Work under the close supervision of higher-level inspectors
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience
- OR a 2-year post-secondary/Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions accurately
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
