Inspector - Architectural

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure all architectural engineering aspects of the project are executed according to plans, drawings, codes, and specifications
• Perform thorough site inspections for all architectural works, including field checks on the placement and quality of finishes and building components
• Conduct material inspections and evaluate tests to confirm quality requirements and building component standards
• Review and monitor contractor shop drawings and documents to identify issues affecting the stability or function of architectural systems
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to contractors and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily site diaries, progress photography, and logs of all submittals and inspections
• Liaise with Senior Architectural Engineers, project managers, and contractors to provide guidance and expedite approvals
• Monitor safety aspects related to architectural installations and report on HSE-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Architecture or a relevant field
• 6 to 10 years of professional experience in building construction
• Strong knowledge of architectural codes, specifications, and industry standards
• Proven ability to perform rigorous site inspections and material testing
