Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect complex components against engineering drawings using GD&T and agreed sampling rates
• Verify material and treatment documentation in accordance with technical specifications
• Identify, record, and report non-conformances clearly within company systems
• Support manufacturing teams with first-off inspections and technical feedback
• Maintain accurate inspection records, job completion logs, and documentation control
• Ensure correct part marking and traceability for all components
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with the ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T
• Hands-on experience using inspection equipment including CMMs, laser scanners, and bench tools
• Proficiency in PolyWorks and PC-Dmis software
• High attention to detail with strong data recording skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems
• Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating or editing CMM inspection programmes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of part marking, traceability, and formal inspection documentation processes
