Inspections Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection activities on client assets and equipment to ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Support examinations and assist with identifying defects, wear, or non-conformance
• Produce accurate inspection reports and maintain documentation
• Work closely with experienced engineers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service
• Liaise with clients on site with professionalism and clear communication
• Adhere to SGS quality, health & safety, and integrity standards

Requirements

• Background in mechanical engineering, maintenance, or inspection
• HNC / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
• Experience within inspection, engineering, or regulated environments
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
• Good communication skills and proactive attitude
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
