Inspection Technology Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Support inspection, manufacturing, or automation processes on the production floor
• Assist with setup, validation, and optimization of inspection and production equipment
• Analyze basic process and inspection data to support yield and quality improvements
• Support troubleshooting of equipment and process-related issues under guidance
• Participate in new model introductions and process change activities
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and engineering standards
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and cross-functional teams
• Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field)
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality concepts
• Fundamental understanding of automated equipment or inspection systems
• Knowledge of machine vision algorithm libraries (Halcon, OpenCV) and deep learning models
• Exposure to maintenance of in-line inspection systems (Machine Vision, 3D metrology, X-ray and CT)
• Understanding of measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage R&R using Minitab
