Inspection Technician Agriculture & Minerals

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of ship and container loading and unloading
• Execute qualitative and quantitative control of goods, including sampling, tank measurement, weight control, counting, and draft surveys
• Conduct marine fuel inspections (Bunker Surveys)
• Perform condition inspections (On-Hire and Off-Hire Condition Surveys)
• Execute safety checks and space certification (Gas Free)
• Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with applicable procedures and requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 12th-grade education
• Experience in inspection, logistics, port operations, or commodity control (preferred)
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Analytical skills and critical thinking
• Computer literacy
• High sense of responsibility and autonomy
• Flexibility with schedules and availability for travel between Lisbon and Setúbal
