Inspection Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA disaster response by managing inspector communications, training schedules, and deployment logistics.
• Act as a primary contact point for inspectors regarding workshops, webinars, security requirements, and deployment opportunities.
• Maintain accurate inspector records using paper, electronic, and database files.
• Schedule new and advanced training sessions and provide necessary information and reminders to attendees.
• Coordinate with inspectors in anticipation of deployments to determine availability and provide travel details.
• Ensure compliance with FEMA background checks and other contractual requirements.
• Document all contact attempts and results accurately within internal databases.
• Assist in meeting contractual obligations and support other departments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in administrative or customer service roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and be on-call with little to no notice in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy and tight deadlines.
• Reliable internet and phone service for remote work capabilities.
