Inspection Operator

Responsibilities

• Manually visually inspect product in black & white booth or semi-automated inspection machine
• Organize and segregate rejects according to category of defect
• Count and verify proper unit count and reconcile to count received
• Document all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) activities in Batch Records
• Provide support and feedback to manufacturing team to reduce controllable defects
• Assist with inspection of performance qualification/validation materials and sampling operations
• Set-up, tear down, and clear inspection areas
• Perform line clearance activities
• Dispose of rejects in appropriate disposal areas
• Track and document Time out of Refrigeration (TOR)

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
• Visual acuity 20/20 with or without corrective vision
• Ability to pass a color blind test
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 38 lbs and carrying 30 lbs
• Ability to work independently and maintain focus for specific durations

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of previous Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOP) and GMP
• Experience with handheld light meters and packaging materials
