About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish, manage, and improve inspection systems to support production plans and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Utilize data analysis and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodologies to solve complex equipment problems and reduce abnormal counts
  • Monitor equipment performance to minimize operating expenses and ensure workplace safety
  • Create and analyze reports regarding machine micro-stops, breakdowns, and yield impacts to develop continuous improvement countermeasures
  • Develop inspection PM work orders, manage machine standards, and maintain calibration and accuracy of machinery
  • Create and maintain operational process and equipment manuals, including total operation flow diagrams
  • Use production data to justify CapEx/OpEx changes and new technology implementations
  • Mentor and train technicians and other engineers to develop team capability
  • Communicate effectively with local and international vendors to facilitate equipment repairs and replacements
  • Maintain work-site cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience
  • 1 to 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to provide hands-on support for equipment in both office and manufacturing environments
  • Ability to work adjusted shifts and travel up to 10% (domestic or international)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Machine Vision experience
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, etc.)
  • Battery production related knowledge
  • Korean language proficiency
