Inspection and Packaging Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections, labeling, assembly, and packaging of liquid, suspension, and lyophilized pharmaceutical products
• Operate semi-automatic inspection machines, vial label applicators, and box imprinting machines
• Maintain accurate manufacturing records and complete all required documentation in compliance with FDA regulations
• Clean labeling and packaging assembly equipment and facility areas as needed
• Comply with all personal safety and job area safety policies and procedures
• Report any variances or deviations from standard procedures to department management
• Stock materials utilized by the department to ensure continuous production

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to visually inspect small print, labels, and pharmaceutical products for particles
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and cGMPs
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions with manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications

• Biotechnology certificate or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
