Insider Threat Investigative Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive all-source analysis to support a national-level government Insider Threat mission
• Aggregate, analyze, and evaluate various data sources to assess risk
• Extract and organize data to build metrics, reports, case studies, and trend reports
• Prepare and produce situational awareness and warning reports for government representatives
• Provide written and oral presentations and conduct quality control of program products
• Review and incorporate Insider Threat data to meet government mission requirements

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, criminal justice, national security, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience conducting all-source analysis or investigations in support of Insider Threat Programs (ITP), counterintelligence, or law enforcement
• Expert knowledge in assessing risks, tracking trends, and compiling metrics
• Extensive experience with Insider Threat databases for record-keeping and data mining
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees in relevant technical or specialized fields
• Professional certifications such as Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional (CCITP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
