Inside Sales Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the area sales and support lead for the Marine Boiler Burner & Upgrade business
• Provide lean and fast commercial and technical sales support to Alfa Laval Sales Offices
• Convert customer needs into precise, value-based quotations and competitive offers
• Achieve sales growth and hit targets by supporting and developing business with external sales teams
• Scope upgrade and life-extending services for marine vessel steam boilers, including material and service requirements
• Follow up on open quotations and maintain close relationships with sales companies
• Ensure a well-organized handover of projects once they become orders

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales, preferably within the Marine industry
• Technical curiosity with a strong commercial mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-cultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of marine boiler technologies
• Hands-on experience from engine rooms on sailing vessels or marine industry service roles
