About the role
Responsibilities
- Cold-call prospects generated by external lead sources
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to initiate the sales process
- Penetrate targeted accounts and expand sales within the client base
- Collaborate with Sales Supervisors and Account Managers on strategic sales approaches
- Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Account Managers
- Maintain and expand the company's prospect database
- Set up and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients
- Support marketing efforts including trade shows and exhibits
- Overcome customer objections and emphasize product features and benefits
- Prepare sales order forms and reports
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
- Ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
