Inside Sales Representative I

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the Super-Sod stores
• Operate curbside, counter sales, and on the yard as needed
• Collect customer lawn care needs in-person and over the phone
• Process orders using Point of Sale system
• Assist customers with delivery, availability, or price inquiries
• Balance cash register and sales at the beginning and end of shifts
• Work with Store Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Loaders
• Process product returns and reimbursements according to company policy
• Identify prices and services and tabulate quotes using internal software
• Maintain storefront, displays, and inside working areas
• Uphold a safe culture and work environment

Requirements

• High school degree and business discipline
• Customer service experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift products and office supplies up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and enclosed spaces
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with turfgrass sod and seed in a retail setting
• Additional education in turf management or horticulture
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
