Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Secure purchase orders and manage customer expectations
• Coordinate customer requirements with sales, manufacturing, marketing, and engineering departments
• Process requests for quotes and conduct extensive reviews of purchase orders for accuracy
• Perform accurate and efficient customer order entry and administer order expedite requests
• Provide notifications of late shipments to customers
• Facilitate communication between the Credit Department and customers regarding payment delays
• Initiate Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
• Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Initiate pricing reviews when appropriate to ensure profitability
• Notify sales management immediately of any business-at-risk situations

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field or 2-3 years of direct sales or customer service experience
• Proficiency with Windows-based PCs and mandatory experience with MS Office programs
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish within a professional business environment
• Strong multitasking skills with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong service mindset
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
