About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver solutions and identify new opportunities to ensure a positive customer experience using sales methodology.
- Initiate and respond to sales inquiries from prospective and existing customers via telephone, email, and other multimedia channels.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through order fulfillment, monitoring activities to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain and expand sales within existing accounts by leveraging customer knowledge and project pipelines.
- Coordinate with internal resources, including product, materials, field sales, and suppliers, to execute sales strategies.
- Provide accurate pricing, detailed quotes, and technical input on products and final solutions.
- Manage customer requirements regarding inventory, delivery lead times, and unit pricing.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of related sales or customer service experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate knowledge of systems such as SAP and ERP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and formatting.
- Working knowledge of QuoteFX and SupplierWin.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the Defense and Aerospace sectors.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and WebEx for professional communications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet financial sales metrics.
