About the role

Responsibilities

  • Sell Abbott Nutrition’s portfolio of products to various market segments and healthcare professionals
  • Analyze facility needs and educate customers to ensure optimal patient care and improved outcomes
  • Execute persuasive sales calls and manage territory to maximize revenue and market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and healthcare professionals
  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of internal sales systems and databases
  • Manage territory budgets, including product samples and literature distribution
  • Prospect and respond to inbound or outbound calls to expand client relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required (Nutrition, Business, or Communication preferred)
  • Strong business acumen and proven track record in product or relationship-based sales
  • Proficiency in computer skills and the use of sales databases
  • Willingness to relocate to various cities across the country for future Field Sales roles
  • Ability to work in a team environment and openness to coaching and mentoring
  • Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in nutrition or science
  • Demonstrated leadership and the drive to achieve beyond expectations
  • Experience managing monthly budget responsibilities
