About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory of school and district accounts to achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, principals, and district leaders
  • Conduct needs assessments and present Scholastic Education programs that address customer goals
  • Collaborate with field sales partners to align territory strategies and ensure seamless account coverage
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, and account activity
  • Participate in outbound calling campaigns, webinars, and virtual meetings to generate new opportunities
  • Stay informed on education trends, funding opportunities, and district initiatives
  • Travel approximately 20% of the time for customer support, conferences, and sales meetings

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in K-12 sales or education
  • Experience in Inside Sales
  • Proven track record of generating annual sales of $2M+
