About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the customer service department to ensure world-class service for all customers and employees
- Supervise, train, coach, and mentor an inside sales team of 3-4 direct reports
- Manage and grow a book of business by identifying and qualifying new business leads
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and sales goals for the customer service team
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and implement programs to maximize brand recognition
- Manage partnerships between the outside sales team and the customer service team to ensure seamless execution of sales plans
- Monitor accounts receivable aging schedules and follow up on delinquent accounts
- Maintain professional communication with customers, suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Develop performance strategies, metrics, and call success strategies to capitalize on market opportunities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in a related field preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in general sales or customer service
- 3+ years of experience in a related industry
- Strong knowledge of CRM software
- Valid Driver’s License
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to work independently and use judgment to adapt existing methods and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MAS software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience in the lubrication or energy industry
- Experience managing direct reports and conducting performance appraisals
