Inside Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an inside sales team serving industrial, commercial, and OEM accounts
• Oversee the complete quotation and order management cycle, from RFP acknowledgment to customer follow-up
• Establish performance goals related to responsiveness, accuracy, margin performance, and customer satisfaction
• Manage margin analysis, pricing overrides, and discount approvals to ensure profitability
• Coordinate with manufacturers, purchasing, and project management teams to secure competitive terms and lead times
• Drive the use of CRM and ERP systems to track all sales activities and quote volumes
• Maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and support outside sales in strategic pursuits

Requirements

• 7+ years of inside sales leadership experience in industrial distribution, industrial construction, or OEM markets
• Proven experience managing or leading a quotation or inside sales team
• Bachelor's degree is required (Business, Electrical Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred)
• Strong background in industrial electrical products such as switchgear, cable, and lighting
• Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, or Salesforce)
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills for margin and pricing reviews
