Inside Auto Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and prepare clear, concise claim summaries
• Conduct recorded statements with claimants, insureds, and witnesses
• Evaluate auto claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
• Negotiate and settle claims in alignment with established guidelines and best practices
• Maintain detailed and well-documented claim files, including notes, summaries, and decision rationale
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient and customer-centric claim handling

Requirements

• Ability to obtain an adjuster’s license in multiple markets within 60 days of hire
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with solid critical-thinking and decision-making skills
• Proficiency with technology and ability to learn claims-related software and tools
• Dedicated, private, and distraction-free home workspace with minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior claim handling experience
