Inside Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders and convert quotations into orders via phone and email
• Maintain relationships with key accounts and ensure customer requests are met
• Prospect and develop new customers through outbound calling campaigns
• Act as a project manager for large projects, managing lead times and communications
• Meet or exceed gross profit and sales targets
• Assist counter sales during peak hours and engage in face-to-face customer interactions
• Resolve customer issues including pricing deductions and product returns
• Expedite material with vendors and follow up on outstanding orders
• Support Outside Sales and Counter Teams with orders and issues

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong telephone and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC and building products
• Experience using Trend and Eclipse software
