Inside Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers primarily over the phone and email to generate and close sales
• Process sales orders and convert quotations into orders
• Maintain relationships with established key accounts
• Prospect and develop new customers using outbound calling campaigns
• Act as a project manager for large projects, managing lead times and communication
• Assist counter sales during peak hours and drive business through face-to-face interactions
• Investigate and resolve customer issues such as pricing deductions and product returns
• Support Outside Sales and Counter Teams with orders and issues

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales/contractor experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
• Intermediate math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with plumbing and building products
• Experience using Trend and Eclipse software
