Inside Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers primarily over the phone and by email to provide excellent service
• Process sales orders and convert quotations into orders
• Maintain relationships with established key accounts and ensure requests are met
• Prospect and develop new customers using outbound calling campaigns
• Act as a project manager for large projects, including tracking lead times
• Meet or exceed gross profit and sales targets
• Investigate and resolve customer issues such as pricing deductions and product returns
• Support outside sales and assist warehouse operations during busy periods

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Intermediate math skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with PVF (pipe, valves, fittings) products
• Experience using Infor (M3) software
