About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient epilepsy care within the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), including admissions, daily care, medication titration, and discharges.
- Partner with epileptologists to run the EMU and assist in the management of neuromodulation devices such as VNS, RNS, and DBS.
- Maintain an independent outpatient clinic panel to evaluate and treat conditions including seizures, headaches, migraines, tics, and tremors.
- Serve as the "Provider of the Day" to handle urgent neurology triage and immediate clinical needs.
- Work rotating 10-hour shifts spanning Monday through Sunday, including potential evening and weekend clinics.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification or Physician Assistant (PA) certification.
- Ability to work onsite at various regional sites, including Bellevue and Federal Way.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pediatric neurology.
