About the role
Responsibilities
- Admit, transfer, and discharge patients within the Women's Birth Center
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
- Answer patient calls in a professional and timely manner
- Respond to emergent situations calmly using predefined processes
- Procure necessary supplies, equipment, and services for patients
- Maintain accurate census information and monitor infant security systems
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other clinical staff
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work the night shift (11:30pm-7:30am)
- Ability to work rotating weekends and alternating holidays
- Availability to attend training 4-5 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
- Proven ability to problem-solve
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on importance
