Inpatient Unit Clerk

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients within the Women's Birth Center
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
• Answer patient calls in a professional and timely manner
• Respond to emergent situations calmly using predefined processes
• Procure necessary supplies, equipment, and services for patients
• Maintain accurate census information and monitor infant security systems
• Communicate effectively and timely with medical staff

Requirements

• Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem solve and multitask
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on level of importance
• Availability to train a minimum of 4 to 5 days per week
