About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling, assessments, and group facilitation to individuals and families
  • Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge
  • Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality patient care
  • Collaborate with patients in developing written treatment plans and discharge plans
  • Monitor patients on an ongoing basis to assess needs and facilitate interventions
  • Document clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes timely
  • Participate in quality assurance, compliance activities, and utilization review updates
  • Coordinate with community providers and referral sources for post-discharge continuity of care
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to company policies and confidentiality standards

Requirements

  • Active substance abuse or mental health licensure in Washington State
  • Maintain applicable state licensure requirements at hire and throughout employment
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
  • Strong interpersonal skills and clinical knowledge required for treating assigned patients
  • Strong personal boundaries and ability to build rapport with patients
  • Understanding and adherence to the ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Patient service oriented with creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential material reliably
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
