About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling, assessments, and group facilitation to individuals and families
- Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge
- Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality patient care
- Collaborate with patients in developing written treatment plans and discharge plans
- Monitor patients on an ongoing basis to assess needs and facilitate interventions
- Document clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes timely
- Participate in quality assurance, compliance activities, and utilization review updates
- Coordinate with community providers and referral sources for post-discharge continuity of care
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to company policies and confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Active substance abuse or mental health licensure in Washington State
- Maintain applicable state licensure requirements at hire and throughout employment
- Ability to work with a diverse population
- Strong interpersonal skills and clinical knowledge required for treating assigned patients
- Strong personal boundaries and ability to build rapport with patients
- Understanding and adherence to the ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board

- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Patient service oriented with creative problem solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential material reliably
- Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
