Inpatient Billing Officer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and price final invoices for discharged inpatients according to hospital tariff policies
• Process cash and third-party payer invoices for settlement and review
• Coordinate with physicians, hospital departments, and insurance representatives to obtain approvals and resolve billing issues
• Verify accuracy and compliance of billing documentation with contractual requirements
• Analyze patient charges to determine insurance coverage and patient responsibility
• Follow up on adjusted claims and communicate outcomes to patients and payers
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing and payment matters

Requirements

• BA degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Or TS degree in accounting or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of hospital billing systems and insurance processes preferred
• Proficiency in Arabic and English
• Computer literacy
