Injection Molding Technician

Responsibilities

• Change molds in 500 to 1500 ton injection molding machines
• Ensure proper electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic hookups for tools
• Change robot end of arm tools and perform basic machine/robot functions for tool changeovers
• Adjust processes to correct common defects and program pick and place robots
• Investigate and resolve machine, robot, and product quality issues
• Maintain housekeeping in line with 5S principles and ensure product conformity to quality standards
• Document machine settings and process set-up parameters

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (vocational training in skilled trades preferred)
• Strong technical aptitude
• 1+ year of experience with injection molding machine set-up and processing
