Injection Molding Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and perform material pre-drying for injection molding experiments
• Check connected lines including air, electricity, and water for experimental setups
• Execute injection molding experiments using various materials such as ABS, PO, and EP
• Manage and process test requests within the laboratory setting
• Operate injection molding machines, including data evaluation and backup
• Perform routine maintenance on injection molding machinery to ensure constant availability
• Document all test results in both German and English
• Participate in the optimization of laboratory workflows and global multidisciplinary project meetings

Requirements

• Successfully completed training in injection molding, polymer processing, or a comparable field
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of the injection molding process and mold design
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and German
• Strong teamwork skills and a communicative, engaging personality
• Previous experience at an injection molding company or mold maker is preferred
