Injection Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead injection molding operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and performance targets in a JIT automotive environment.
• Manage and develop a large injection organization of approximately 50 employees, including engineers, maintenance, shift leaders, and tool room teams.
• Drive disciplined daily management routines, KPI reviews, and structured problem-solving to ensure KPI convergence.
• Guarantee production output meets customer specifications, including high standards for visual and cosmetic parts.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across injection molding processes, equipment performance, and standard work.
• Act as IMS process owner for the injection area, including KPIs, procedures, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage short- and mid-term production planning, capacity, and support new product and program launches.
• Oversee operating budgets and contribute to industrial feasibility and cost optimization for new programs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with direct exposure to injection molding operations.
• Strong automotive manufacturing background, preferably with Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier experience.
• Proven experience leading large, multi-layered teams and managing heavy KPI ownership (OEE, scrap, delivery, quality).
• Strong understanding of JIT manufacturing and on-time delivery requirements.
• Solid knowledge of injection molding processes, troubleshooting, and equipment performance optimization.
• Lean manufacturing experience is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related reporting tools.
• Highly disciplined, structured, and results-oriented leadership style.
