About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and deploy special process requirements (NDT, heat treatment, surface treatment) based on client and international standards.
- Integrate requirements into work instructions and manufacturing ranges.
- Train, certify, and maintain the certifications of operators for special processes.
- Monitor and optimize special processes, including internal/external qualification files and audit preparation.
- Provide technical expertise for non-conformity management and new product development/innovation projects.
- Participate in the Aerospace BU special processes expert network.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through technical monitoring and process optimization.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Materials or a DUT in Physical Measurements.
- Proven knowledge of metallurgy and mechanics.
- Experience in special processes such as surface treatment, heat treatment, or non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Proficiency in Quality tools and problem-solving methodologies (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, AMDEC/FMEA).
- Ability to perform statistical data analysis, including capability studies and R&R.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, and ability to lead working groups or training sessions.
