About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and validate mechanical systems and equipment installations for the A400M aircraft and its derivatives
- Coordinate work packages, technical dependencies, and programmatic requirements with design centers and suppliers
- Develop new design solutions from initial concept through to detailed design and production
- Integrate mechanical systems into the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) while ensuring compliance with requirements and specifications
- Perform requirement analysis and provide technical expertise to customers and manufacturing management
- Elaborate technical reports, document design trade-offs, and provide support to Final Assembly Line (FAL) and Manufacturing Engineering (MC)
Requirements
- Aeronautical or mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical system design specifically for the A400M
- Proven experience with ATA chapters 00, 21, 25, 27, 28, and 53
- Proficiency in design tools such as CATIA, TRENDv4, PASS SSI, or 3D Jump
- Intermediate English proficiency for collaboration with European teams
- Eligibility for security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in front fuselage design for the A400M
- Experience in aircraft configuration management
- Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of Spanish
