About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure manufacturing compliance of mechanical equipment (diesel engines, high-temperature engines, piping, valves) against technical contractual standards such as RCCM, CODAP, or EDF-specific references.
  • Draft technical opinions regarding welding on mechanical equipment to communicate requirements and provide positions on modification requests.
  • Ensure the long-term qualification of materials under accidental conditions.
  • Act as a technical interface between EDF business experts, project owners, and mechanical equipment manufacturers.

Requirements

  • Materials Engineering degree.
  • Valid IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (forging, casting, bending, forming, heat treatment, etc.).
  • Expertise in metallurgy regarding rolled, forged, and cast products, as well as tubes.
  • Knowledge of codes, standards, and the nuclear industry environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within the nuclear sector or specifically with EDF.
