About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate injection mold concepts for new projects (DFM's)
- Execute injection simulation analysis to validate feasibility, filling, cooling, shrinkage, deformation, and potential defects
- Participate in design and manufacturability reviews for new molds
- Propose part and/or mold design improvements based on simulation results
Requirements
- Engineering degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molds
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in plastic injection processes
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Proficiency in CATIA for mold design and manufacturing
- Intermediate to advanced experience with injection simulation software (CadMold or similar)
- Knowledge of project management, GD&T, and engineering resins
- Proficiency in CDB, SAP, TAD, and Microsoft Office
