Infusion Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the health status of the patient
• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers regarding order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in NJ
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy in a clinical setting
• Ability to work autonomously
• Proficiency in inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
• Current BLS CPR certification
• Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS & PALS Certification
• Experience working with biologic drugs
