Infusion Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including on-site and virtual supervision
• Administer infusions and injections with precision
• Conduct patient assessments, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses
• Educate patients and families on treatment expectations and disease management
• Maintain accurate records in EHR systems and uphold HIPAA/OSHA standards
• Collaborate with referring providers and multidisciplinary teams
• Assist with inventory management and prior authorizations

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Registered Nurse (RN) license if required by state
• Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
• BLS certification (PALS preferred)
• Ability to treat both adult and pediatric populations
• Strong IV and infusion therapy skills
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and EHR systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
• Experience in an ambulatory infusion center or outpatient specialty clinic
• Experience with specialty biologics and medication management
