Infusion Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including on-site and virtual supervision of infusions and injections
• Conduct patient assessments, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment expectations and disease management
• Maintain accurate Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and uphold HIPAA/OSHA standards
• Collaborate with referring providers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Support clinical operations including inventory management and prior authorizations

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
• BLS certification required (PALS preferred)
• Strong IV and infusion therapy skills
• Proficiency with EHR systems and regulatory compliance
• Ability to care for a diverse patient population across the lifespan

Preferred Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
• Experience in an ambulatory infusion center or outpatient specialty clinic
• Experience with specialty biologics and medication management
