Infusion Advanced Practice Provider

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centric care in a busy, multi-disease chemotherapy infusion suite
• Collaborate with infusion RNs and primary oncology teams to streamline care
• Support optimal treatment outcomes for adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient setting
• Make timely and effective clinical decisions to maintain efficient workflows
• Adapt to shifting demands and evolving clinical environments

Requirements

• Current New York State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (with RN license) or Physician Assistant
• At least 3 years of oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) experience
• At least 2 years of chemotherapy experience
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner education for NP candidates
• Experience as an infusion APP (for external candidates)
• Acute care and ambulatory care experience (for internal candidates)
• Proficiency with Epic Systems
